About Us

George M. Murray Elementary School is a K-2 school located in the town of Lillooet, BC. The students who attend come from the town and from the local communities of: T’it’q’et, Xwisten, Xaxli'p, Ts’kw’aylaxw and Sekw’el’was.

Action Plan for Learning

Gold Trail School District 74 is committed to enhancing student engagement by implementing innovative teaching strategies and hands-on learning experiences to increase motivation and participation. We will provide targeted support and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, ensuring equity and inclusion across the district. Strengthening partnerships with families and local organizations will create a supportive learning environment that extends beyond the classroom. To ensure continuous improvement and academic success, we will regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed.

George M. Murray Elementary School recognizes and is respectful that it lies on the traditional territory of the St'át'imc people.
